Summary:

In creating this work, I quickly discovered that producing high-quality AI art is really, really hard. My hope is that this series helps the art world pay deeper respect to Roope and other artists at the forefront of the AI movement.

Life in Less America is a post-photography tribute series to Roope Rainisto’s iconic Life in West America collection. I imagined myself on a gonzo roadtrip through the American West in the 1960s, capturing off-kilter moments from my adventures.
